Wrotens/Speers Ready for Christmas 2005

Christmas 2005 is just a few days from now and both families are ready and plans are made.

Julie and Brady will have Christmas with his immediately family as usual on December 23rd starting with diner at Monterry's Mexican Cafe in Grand Prairie, followed by present time at mom and dad's.

The Speers will host their traditional "progressive dinner" Christmas Eve, starting around 5pm. It will travel to Janet and Craig's home first, then over to Brady and Julie's place and finally to Grandma Kat's for a great time of exchanging gifts. Who knows what might take place...

The Wrotens have all events planned for Christmas Day in Tyler. First is lunch at Sarah's new home, followed by present time and then family time over at Delores' home with Papa Jack's side of the family. I am sure a fun movie will top the evening!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Speers Family Celebrates Thanksgiving with the Cowboys!

Thanks to Equal Access Health, Inc., the Speers family was once again able to celebrate Thanksgiving this year with the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium. The Cowboys lost a thriller in overtime to the Denver Broncos, but the game was a blast and the family enjoyed the time together, eating and laughing and cheering on our favorite team.

Not sure if we will be blessed enough to continue such a tradition, but we sure know the last two years have been worth it all!

The family also got to enjoy some time with the latest editions to the gang, as Sidney and Chloe made their first family appearance since being born at CJ and Ferns before the game and for lunch. See their blog for great pictures!

Happy Holidays everyone! See you at the progressive dinner on Christmas Eve.

CJ Turns the Big 60!

Well, it is true, dad is 60.

He didn't seem to like the idea much either, but we all know, if he is anything like Grandma Kat, he has decades of living to do! He has two new granddaughters to help us raise!

Happy Birthday dad....we love you.

Pray For Aunt Joyce

As you may or may not know, Joyce found out she has cancer and it does not look good. She started treatments recently.

We need to pray for a miracle that can extend her life. We saw it happen with Uncle Bill and we can with her too!

I'll keep this updated as I find out.

Update Speers Events

Brady and Julie are getting closer to the due date. Julie is feeling worse by the day, so pray we make it another 4-5 weeks. We'll be delivering at Arlington Memorial off Randal Mill. All hands on deck around Labor Day!

Speaking of Labor Day: I assume we will be gathering at Grandma Kat's as usual, barring any need for a holiday bash at Arlington Memorial with the twins!

If anyone needs us, please call us at 817-453-5342. Julie could use a call or visit during the day.

I'll keep it updated and feel free to submit anything you feel necessary. Please email me or post comments regarding family events, etc.

Also, please send me your links and feel free to create your own blog. It's free and easy.
